In Celebration Of Integrity And The Humans Who Choose Soul Truth
Keep Being Yourself. Keep Choosing Love. Do Not Yield. Smile With The Storm And Laugh With The Sun. Give Back To The Earth. Remember Your Soul. Be.
This is the final piece in my Natural Writer essay series.
It is dedicated to underrepresented writers who deserve to speak their truth and exist out loud. It is dedicated to readers who value real storytelling with depth, quality, and nuance over social media branding and hollow online performances.
It is dedicated to my younger self and to my best friend, Adrian.
It is dedicated to the good humans who are fighting to preserve the integrity of Our Hearts, who are protecting Our Mother Earth and Our Bodies, who are reclaiming Our Souls from the industrial simulation that will inevitably collapse as Nature Makes A Full Return.
It is dedicated to this lovely and loving planet. It is dedicated to the Spirits Of All The Worlds. It is dedicated to the Indigenous people and to Black people, Brown people, Asian people, and more.
Let us write our way back to the Soul and to the Truth.

The Rainbow And The Pink Sky
I dreamed of a cityscape last winter. It looked like Paris, but it could have been any modern city on this planet. After the storm, the sky bloomed carnation pink, the blush of a loving maiden, the kiss of early spring. I found myself in the middle of a street. No cars. No planes. Just me amidst a throng of humans, all of us pointing at the rainbow blessing the pink sky. Awe washed over me like water.
I wanted to capture the moment on my cellphone so I could show it to my partner later. Like many other people around me, I took multiple photos of the rainbow, which looked ethereal through the lens of my phone camera.
Someone shouted for us to run toward the rainbow. We all did. Laughter echoed around us like a spiritual song. The wind in our hair. The Light on the Crown of our heads. Lightness displaced the heaviness of our footfalls, and the humans rejoiced in each other’s company.
But then, I wanted to send this photo to someone else. Perhaps it was to my partner, but I could not recall. As soon as I took out my phone, the world around me quieted. When I pulled up the photos that I had taken, I saw no rainbow. Only sludge that resembled wet manure on the side of an unclean, pockmarked road.
This could not be!
I took a picture of the rainbow smiling on the pink sky, but this set of photos depicted a sky that resembled what you would wrinkle your nose at in your toilet bowl after excretion, and the rainbow was nowhere to be seen. I tried to dial up the brightness of the photos, but the filters just exacerbated the ugliness of the hollow.
I looked up to ask the people around me for help. But there was no one left. No elders. No children. Nobody at all. The wind stopped. The streets were empty. I stood alone on the cracked pavement, the sky dimming and the rainbow gone.
I woke with a start.
And I began to contemplate the spiritual message.
I called my partner, and she called a mutual friend, and the three of us discussed the meaning of this dream. Rainbows usually symbolized spiritual awakenings, blessings, love, true prosperity, and rejuvenation. A pink sky was reminiscent of the phrase: “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.” This meant that sunny days were up ahead. But why did the photos look absolutely hideous even though the rainbow was seen through the lens? Why did the street suddenly become devoid of all humans, all birds, everything?
As the conversation heated with speculations, a divine sense of revelation touched my mind, and I blurted out something that changed the trajectory of my emotional healing and my view on this modern society.
“Wait!” I said. “I think the messed-up photos represent the distortions of the real world on social media. Before I pulled out my phone, I was surrounded by really good people who celebrated this natural phenomenon together, and we were all aligned and were eagerly running toward the rainbow. But the fact that I ended up alone after seeing those distorted photos on my phone represents the alienation and isolation that most people feel these days after they watch the news or go on social media. But I could’ve just not looked at my phone. I could’ve just kept going about my day-to-day without falling prey to the algorithmic cages, and I would still be surrounded by good people and I would remain in touch with Nature.”
My partner added: “Yeah! And the rainbow looks like shit on your phone because social media makes everything look like shit, but it’s actually not shit, and the world is beautiful if people would just go offline!”
And our mutual friend said: “And the dream means that the real world is not as bad as people have been misled into believing.”
Ever since that dream and our conversation, I had known that I must pass this story along, and the Spirits will guide the right Souls to this message at the right time.
Because the world you think you know through the media, through social media, through mass media, through the news with hidden agendas left and right, through celebrity interviews, through so-called experts from constructed universities telling people what to believe and what not to believe, is really just a manufactured illusion designed to keep you feeling jaded and helpless. And a population who feel helpless will not try to rise up against the status quo. And the Soul would remain in slumber because the Mind would remain caged by the miseducation of the ego-driven parasites whose toxic delusions of scarcity should not be the burden of the good humans, our children, this planet, and all wondrous creatures big and small.
And the Real World is not the corporate game of smoke and mirrors.
The Real World is Abundance.
The Real World is calling to all of us.

I Choose To Speak, Publish, Release
From early 2021 to late 2024, I had struggled with publication. It was not a matter of skills or resources, but a matter of conflicting desires. Truth be told, I did not want to be cyberbullied again and again, nor did I want to deal with more smear campaigns, nor did I want to deal with the unsolicited projection of parasocial parasites.
But I have always known that my stories hold immense power, and I have always known that my Cosmic Oeuvre must be shared for its own sake. I have always believed in my personal power as a storyteller and in the innate worth of my artistic projects across all mediums.
So what resulted was a push-and-pull between wanting to release my books, but not wanting to deal with industry and social media. I never struggled with this dilemma while releasing my creative projects in music, podcasting, games, music videos, photography, and more. In hindsight, it dawned on me that the people whom I had met through music and other art forms are real creatives who devote themselves to their artistic practices offline. They are not at all like the pretenders claiming to write books online.
One morning, I talked to my partner again about publication, and I told her that I wanted to finally break through this cycle of publishing and unpublishing again and again. She gave my words some more serious thought, then she said something that helped to guide me back on my Soul’s Journey.
She wisely said: “Why don’t you just view publication as the release of your stories, the final step in the creation cycle so the art can exist on its own? Publication doesn’t have to mean debuting into an industry that you hate and it doesn’t mean you have to be on social media.”
And I pass that wisdom on to you.
You do not need to kill your peace and become a social media brand to share your stories and truth.
You are a human, not a product.
You are a storyteller, and you are not up for sale.
Every single human being has a right to express their authentic self, and every single human being deserves to take up space. Nowadays, so many people talk about their rights, but they forget the equal rights of other humans, and they refuse to acknowledge the fact that with rights come obligations and responsibilities.
You deserve to be around people who respect your autonomy and give you empathy. It is absolutely vital and brilliant to reject the parasites who erroneously believe that they are entitled to your energy without giving anything back.
Remember, your life is your own.
You are the only one who gets to decide what you want to say and how you want to say it.
So live and be you.

Everyday Miracles
Here is a glimpse of the everyday miracles that I have experienced in recent weeks.
I really like this sauce from a fast food restaurant that does not usually give it out, but when my mom asked the employee for some of it, that kind man gave us more than a dozen packets despite the restaurant’s restrictions. He told my mom that he loves the sauce, so he will share the love. Awww.
I love it when cute birds find me every time I go outside! A starlet, a pigeon, a cardinal, and so many more! They are so cute when they swoop down onto the grass and peck the ground. They usually stay with me for a while before flying away.
I recently found some really cool books and discovered so many amazing authors. Vaishnavi Patel is one of them. In her own words, she writes at the intersection of Indian myth, feminism, and anti-colonialism. I got a copy of Kaikeyi and a copy of Ten Incarnations Of Rebellion. I also got a copy of The Manor Of Dreams by Christina Li who wrote Clues To The Universe, which is one of my favorite Middle Grade novels that features a Chinese girl trying to build a rocket to honor her late father and an American boy convinced that his estranged dad is a comic book artist.
I also deepened my connection with Mother Earth and I found some books on environmental science that I’ve been recommending to everyone around me. Becoming Earth by Ferris Jabr and Immense World by Ed Yong are great books with heartfelt writing that honor the planet and the wondrous creatures all around us that are often overlooked but are precious nonetheless.
I had a deep conversation with my best friend who helped me unlearn my pessimistic worldview on other people due to my not-so-pleasant upbringing, and I am happy to see him win and thrive and flourish.
My partner and I listened to some wonderful music together. Caught A Body by Iniko is ethereal and multifaceted. Pied Piper and Go Go by BTS are some of my favorites from the Love Yourself: Her EP that I’ve been showing to my darling. I also listened to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 on my own a few weeks ago.
I heard back from two old friends. One of them showed me photos and videos from her trip to Korea, and the other wrote to me from Senegal. Seeing both of them exploring the world and speaking their truth make me very joyous.
And these are only seven of the Infinite Everyday Miracles that I have been blessed with throughout the past few weeks.
I encourage everyone to look at the hidden facets of their lives that are often forgotten and abandoned. You may just find a Seed Of Joy there that will help you remember your Soul and what True Happiness feels like!
Remember, you deserve better than being forced into unwanted labor!
Don’t forget to drink water.
This short piece is the Bridge that closes the previous chapter of my publication journey and leads to my Full Reclamation and my Future Projects.
I have many things in the works, many Seeds that are Blooming in the Garden of my Oeuvre. Right now, I am working on the second of my annual documentation projects. After these, I will be focusing on some really exciting literary and audio work that are even more aligned to my Natural Frequency. 久宁 333
If you are interested in my works, I currently have two poetry books released.
Flower Crowns Reign is ancestral wisdom and a hug to other writers, musicians, artists and more.
My Sky Is Full Of Light chronicles my grief and healing. It is my spiritual proclamation and my declaration of eternal love for my butch partner.
All of my ebooks are free for global access because I care deeply about folks in the Global South, but print options are available if you wish to support my work financially and if you wish to have a physical copy.
I also have an album, a mixtape, and several songs released. I am moving in a different direction musically, but I am proud of what I have made so far for my discography.
All right, this is all for now! Take care of yourselves, everybody! You deserve to smile, and you have an innate Light that shines. Spend some time with yourself in Nature. Remember Your True Calling. Speak Your Truth.
Be You! Be Free!
